New Year Swim

Due to me being sick and rough water, yesterday was my first day being out in Wildlife Adventure. I was supposed to be off but received text that if I could work.

We came across with 200 plus spotted dolphins. Some of them were super social and were able to capture this shot.

I cropped this shot but there were few more dolphins starring right at me!

Then we went offshore to look for more and came across with short fin pilot whales, had great encounter with them also.

After that we went to check where the FAD (Fisherman Aggregation Device)
Then we saw dorsal fin in the area with couple of fisherman.

It was Rough Tooth Dolphins!! I haven’t got great photo of them so I wanted to get in and as soon as I got in, there were 7 of them!! 3 and 4 together.

One of the group came right up to me. These guys are unique dolphins that they can twist their neck like beluga whales can.
Weird looking dolphins but I’ve always wanted to get good shot of them, and I got it!!

新年初スイム

昨日ツアーは休みでしたが友達から連絡があり急遽ガイドの依頼を頼まれ外洋のツアーに行って来ました！！実は年末からずっと体調が優れず海の荒れなどもあり今年初の外洋ガイド！！

出港してすぐにマダライルカの群れに遭遇しました
数も多く機嫌も良く漁師の船もいなかったのでご機嫌マックス！！

火山の噴火も止まり天候も素晴らしかったので素敵な一枚が沢山撮影できました！！

その後コビレゴンドウの群れと泳ぎ再び外洋へ行きブイがあるポイントに到着するとシワハイルカの群れが！！実はシワハイルカの素敵な一枚が無くて念願の撮影が出来ました
サメも居なくお客様も２名のプライベートチャーターだったので撮影に集中できました

彼らはベルーガと同じように首を曲げる事の出来るイルカでスキャンしてみてくる瞬間の一枚が撮影できました。

休んでいたら会えなかった彼らたち。今年もどんな生き物に会えるか楽しみです
